Sinqua Walls was born in Los Angeles, CA and at a young age developed a simultaneous love for acting and sports. As a child he played a variety of sports including baseball, basketball, football, and track and received College scholarship offers. His acting career began early on as he participated in various school plays and local theater. Having moved to San Francisco to hone his skills he participated in various notable plays such as “The Christmas Carol” and “Waiting for Lefty.” While in the Bay Area, along with theater Sinqua participated in several independent feature’s both in front of and behind the camera, often for no-pay, and sleeping on friends couches to further his due diligence to pursuing his craft. To date Sinqua can frequently be seen in various national commercials and has guest starred on shows such as ABC Family Drama “LINCOLN HEIGHTS” and NBC Comedy “CHUCK.” Recently Sinqua can be seen in a recurring role as the Character JAMARCUS HALL on the critically acclaimed NBC DRAMA “FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS,” and guest starring on the new Spike TV show “BLUE MOUNTAIN STATE.” An avid believer in the importance of helping others and giving back, away from the camera he can be found donating his time to several charities and youth reading awareness groups, Along with participating in food drives and serving food to the homeless. With his favorite quote being “How many people you bless is how you measure success.”
Though often humorously nicknamed a Robot by his close family and friends for his focus and persistence, he has a varied balance of personal interest ranging from continued practice in the Israeli martial art “Krav Maga” and other competitive activities to his continued quest to find the best “Cookie” in the world.
Sinqua’s dedication to his work is only surpassed by the value he places on family. Having been raised by a close nit circle of family and friends Sinqua’s set his sights on the sky’s limit, firmly believing that no matter where his journey takes him his family will be there every step of the way.
